# Create Workspace

> Create a new workspace within a tenant

## Request Body

<ParamField body="id" type="string">
  Optional client-provided ID. Format: `workspace_{uuidv7}`
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="tenantId" type="string" required>
  ID of the tenant this workspace belongs to
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="name" type="string" required>
  Display name for the workspace
</ParamField>

## Response

Returns the created workspace object. Also creates an associated scope automatically and links it to the tenant's scope hierarchy.
