# Create Project

> Create a new project within a workspace

## Request Body

<ParamField body="id" type="string">
  Optional client-provided ID. Format: `project_{uuidv7}`
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="tenantId" type="string" required>
  ID of the tenant
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="workspaceId" type="string" required>
  ID of the workspace this project belongs to
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="name" type="string" required>
  Display name for the project
</ParamField>

## Response

Returns the created project object. Also creates an associated scope automatically and links it to the workspace's scope hierarchy.
